		<description><![CDATA[Tom: that was a question I had as well. I looked into a few other West African countries, but could not find much that singles out Nigeria. Here&#039;s what I did find: Nigeria is #10 on a list of US aid recipients. Also, according to the DOE, Nigeria is ranked #5 on a list of crude oil importers to the US. 

Also, interesting fact from the State Dept website: &quot;An estimated one million Nigerians and Nigerian Americans live, study, and work in the United States, while over 25,000 Americans live and work in Nigeria.&quot;]]></description>
