Max is a senior at Yale University majoring in political science. He is the founder and Executive Director of an NGO called Climate Voices, which works to redefine climate change as an issue of human rights. Max has delivered two TEDx talks and presented at numerous conferences about the human impacts of climate change. He has worked for an environmental law firm on litigation related to the BP oil spill and was an intern in the office of former United States Vice President Al Gore. He was named a Udall Scholar in 2011. His interests include: politics, environmental activism, Eastern philosophy, cleantech, basketball, and his pet dachshund Bully.
