Syed Aown Shahzad is a 17 year old youth activist from Lahore whose passion is based on youth empowerment and participation and proper representation of Pakistani youth at any international forum. This along with his love for international relations contributes to his character as a young change maker.

Aown is an highly enthusiastic youth who works on various community service projects all over Pakistan and has actively worked on issues relating to child rights, support for the disabled and protection and preservation of endangered animals in Pakistan. He is also an advocate for Climate Change awareness and was part of the youth delegations at the 2009 Secretary General’s High Level Summit on Climate Change at the United Nations, and also partook in the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child held by UNICEF. He continues his activism by spreading awareness about global issues facing the youth in Pakistan and beyond.
