Antonio Filipok

I was born in Bogotá (Colombia) in June 28, 1984. Before being two years old, my parents moved with my older sister and I to Cartagena de Indias, on the Colombian Cariebbean shore. There I grew up, went to school and graduated from high school.

When I was 12 years old I learned to surf. In 2001, when I was 17, I became the national surfing champion in the junior category (ages underneath 18).
I studied Publicity at the University Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogotá and I graduated as a professional publicist.

In 2008, after having graduated as a publicist, I dedicated myself to work as freelancer so that I could also focus my life in surfing, since it is my deep passion.
In 2010 I decided to dedicate myself completely to surfing. Since then I have been searching for shores in South America with good waves, where I can also work to support myself doing free surfing.
